Do I need technical experience to request a website or application?
No. Describe what you want in plain language — what it should do and who it's for. We'll translate that into the technical decisions and explain them as we go.
What's the difference between a website and a web application?
A website mainly presents information: your business, your work, your content. A web application is software people use — they sign in, enter data, and get something done, like a customer portal or a dashboard. If you're not sure which you need, choose "Not Sure / Need Guidance" on the request form.
Can you review an application I already have?
Yes. Application security services cover software you already have, whether or not we built it — from secure code review and threat modeling to security testing and remediation guidance.
Do you use AI to develop software?
Yes. AI-assisted development is part of how we work, not a replacement for engineering judgment. AI-generated code isn't automatically secure, so it goes through the same review and testing as everything else.
How do you approach application security?
As part of every stage rather than a final step: security is considered during design, reviewed as code is written, and tested before release. No review can guarantee software is free of vulnerabilities, but this approach finds and fixes issues earlier, when they're easier to address.
What happens after I submit a request?
You'll pick a time for a short review call. We read your request beforehand, then talk through what you need, what it involves, and the next steps. Nothing starts until the scope is agreed.
Do you provide maintenance and ongoing support?
Yes, when contracted: optional maintenance, enhancements, and security retesting are available for applications we build and for software we've reviewed.
